Staff was physically assaulted by one of the psych pt. staff was a tech sitting on pt and at [REDACTED] without any provocation pt suddenly jumped out of the room and physically assaulted sitter while staff was trying to get out of her grip pt used the vital signs plug to hit employee on her head several times [REDACTED] was restraint and redirected back to her room but refused to leave and started verbally threatening to beat another staff member police was contacted immediately and they got to the unit in 5min pt threatened to use the police gun and shoot the primary nurse. pt was immediately handcuffed by police and taken into their custody
