What happened
On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] EE was at the coal handler workstation in the boiler house. EE shut a drawer to a cabinet and inadvertently slammed the fingertip of their right ring finger in the drawer. Part of the fingertip and fingernail was removed and remained in the glove. EE was bleeding heavily. Security washed the fingertip and wrapped it in gauze. Paramedics were dispatched and arrived on property at [REDACTED] Aspirus EEs intervened while waiting for paramedics. EE was transported to hospital at [REDACTED] EE 's supervisor and manager were notified. There is a photo of the injury attached to this report.
