Shifting ice bags from the trailer to the conveyor

Employee was moving 30lb ice bags from the ice trailer to the ice conveyor at the TI portable jobsite. He felt a pain and a pop in his chest then had difficulty taking a breath. He had previously had open heart surgery [REDACTED] and was concerned that something was wrong with his heart. He was driven to an emergency room where they confirmed that the pop he felt was from a broken sternal wire which was used during his surgery to reconnect his sternum
