Operating Cutting Table #17

Table was cutting slab on Bed A when there was a servo-lag fault operator restarted table by hitting start button. The cutting arm travel appeared to be stopped due to material caught under tooling head. Operator placed left hand near tooling head to pull material away from blade while the machine was still operational and the cutting tool engaged. She removed her hand quickly and the blade caught her left index fingernail causing laceration half way down nail bed and tearing fingernail.
