Associate was moving totes from work area using a forklift.

Associate was working in the Rework area of Bay 3 when they lacerated their left thumb resulting in stitches.

Cuts Laceration Puncture (Finger - Left)

On 5 1 2023 at 5:20 AM an Associate was working in the Bay 1 palletizer area when associate was trying to pick up totes with a forklift and injured their thumb. Associate drove totes into fence bending fence inward. Associate pulled totes back then got off of forklift and attempted to pull fence back to its original state. When doing this associate’s left thumb got caught between a bracket and the fence cutting it open. During first aid treatment laceration was a U-shaped cut around the left thumb knuckle wound was rinsed with water
