On 5 19 2023 at 2:10 AM an Associate was working in Production Floor Bay 1 @ 2:10am when they had slitter blades fall on their right forearm. The associate was asked to help on Bay 1 W25 due to issues with film and leakers at start-up. The associate was moving the film down and their arm bumped the sliter blade assembly that was recently adjusted. The sliter blade assembly fell onto their arm with one blade puncturing their right upper forearm. During first aid treatment wound was cleaned and alcohol was sprayed on and around the area then wrapped for transport. Treatment consisted of OTC medication Sterri Strips and a Tetanus shot. Associate stated their initial pain level was 10 10 at time of injury. During treatment Associate stated pain level was to 6 10. After treatment Associate stated pain was 4 10. Associate elected to seek outside medical care.
