Delivering a customer package

The delivery associate was performing his job delivering package when he arrived to his first destination of the day and noticed multiple dogs in the customers front yard. The dogs were in the front yard behind a fence that surrounded the front door where he needed to make his delivery. The delivery associate was approaching the house in hopes of contacting the customer when he noticed a chair laid in front of the gate. He proceeded to walk towards the chair to lay the customers package on the chair and deliver it there. As he was extending his right arm out to lay the package on the chair one of the dogs was able to put their head through the gate and bit the delivery associate in the right bicep.
