Hit and bruised by violent ([REDACTED] incident) where blood got smeared on my left arm. Near Rm 3003 I noticed pt charging out of holding on to IV pole as weapon. On blocking his exit he fled back in room to window against which he hit the pole and has body. I called Code Green and attempted to lift and pull him away. Looked like a suicide attempt. In the scuffle I got bruised on left shoulder and both hips from pat hitting me and being pushed against the wall. Pt injured himself at IV site from which blood got smeared onto my left arm.
