Before the incident
cleaning room 673 for discharge
What happened
I was cleaning room 673 for a discharge at [REDACTED]. I cleaned all of the furniture in the room and at [REDACTED] I only had the bed left to clean. After I cleaned the top of the bed I bent down to clean the bottom and I felt a sharp pain in my right knee. I was unable to move it for a few minutes so I waited before trying to move it. I was able to flex my knee and get up to walk and continue working. I notified my manager [REDACTED] at the time of the injury and I notified him that I was going to try and keep working but if the pain continued or got worse I would have to go to the Emergency Room to get checked out. I came down to my Assistant Director [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] so he could assist me in filling out an accident form and I could go get seen in the emergency department.
