An associate working on Tufting Mc 03 grabbed a splicer on the beam side of the machine The associate felt pain in their right hand noticed blood and realized they had been cut by an exposed blade on the splicer The associate reported the injury to a team manager The cut was cleaned with saline antibiotic ointment was applied and the cut was covered with gauze A picture of the wound was sent to the plant nurse to confirm proper treatment
