Waiting for care staff to enter the resident 's apartment so that they could complete a two-person pivot transfer of resident

Resident was not responding to directions resident would not let go of transfer pole swung himself around on transfer pole. Staff was attempting to transfer resident from his bed to his wheelchair. Resident 's wife was trying to pull resident down into his wheelchair before med tech was ready. Resident grabbed onto transfer pole again and the arm of the wheelchair and began shaking the wheelchair. When resident 's wife tried to pull resident down into his wheelchair the resident let go of the transfer pole and grabbed the med tech 's arm pulling the med tech down with him as he sat.
