Before the incident
Employee was adding metal to the remelt station prepping molten metal for distribution inside the plant.
What happened
While adding the metal to the crucible. Molten metal from the crucible overflowed from the top of the crucible then solidify on the sides causing the crucible to stick to the inside wall of the induction coil that was around the remelt crucible. While lifting the coil from around the crucible the crucible became jammed causing a metal splash hitting the employing in the face back and shoulder.
