Before the incident
Hopping over a handrailing at the end of a Lock out and repair at the Hardboard Unloading area.
What happened
Employee did not use the bucket assigned to store tools and placed them outside the area covered a hammer with a piece of hardboard and then did not use three points of contact while exiting the Lock out area. Employee rolled his right ankle resulting in pain and swelling.

Right ankle was rolled twisted while exiting over a hand railing requiring medical assistance for pain and swelling.

A 2 lb hammer was placed on the floor with a 24 x 48 x 1 8 piece of hardboard over top of it by employee and employee hopped over a railing onto the hammer which caused the employee to roll his right ankle.
