Before the incident
Helping to transport a patient in bed with a RN from 3rd floor to surgery.
What happened
While working on [REDACTED] and transporting a patient from the third floor with XXXX RN from PACU I fell. I was at the foot of the bed pulling and the SCD cord came down and the bed was still moving. My right foot got caught and I went down. My right knee definitely twisted and I felt a pop. Two workers from the floor came to help me up and we continued downstairs with the patient. I wasn 't sure what to do but was told I should report it. I tried to fill out the injury report online but could not get it to populate my name to complete it even when using my employee number. The House Supervisor told me to email my Manager with details and that I could go get it checked out in the ER or not if I chose that. I am going to ER to get it checked just to be safe as it hurts right now.
