What happened
Employee was using a pole to un-jam a can that was stuck at the top of the elevator conveyor. Employee felt something in his right eye went to eye wash station to wash out eye. Reported incident to supervisor pain and swelling continued so employee went to Concentra for further evaluation. The employee was wearing Mauser Packaging Solutions proper safety glasses with side shields.
