Before the incident
Employee was building a crate for vinyl siding. They were bulding the crate on a crating jig made out of metal designed to hold the pieces in place while building crates.
What happened
While working and walking along the jig they bumped their shin off a metal post. The employee was wearing jeans and got a scrape through their jeans.
Injury or illness
Initally the injury was sore but employee thought they were fine. On 8 1 2023 it was reported to the employees supervisor that his wound had become infected he went to the hospital and received treatment. The employee was put out of work.
