Before the incident
Employee was working together with 2 other personnel to swap the summer tires on the plow truck over to winter tires. He was lifting the 4th tire to mount it and claims he picked it up wrong and twisted as he lifted the tire
What happened
Lifting the tire incorrectly caused muscle strain in lower back and right hamstring.
Injury or illness
After 2-3 days the soreness in IP 's back went away but then pain in his right hamstring became considerable. The Dr identified the injury as a mid-hamstring strain.
