The employee was trying to separate the motor mount from the spacer by striking the two pieces against the fixture and in the process the employee struck his finger against the fixture and noticed that it immediately turned purple and swollen. Employee was taken to [REDACTED] ER by Security to have it checked out. They had to drain fluid from it in 3 separate areas.
