What happened
Employee was working near the keg line chemical supply area as another team member was inside the curtain in full chemical PPE adjusting the caustic dosing line due to a lack of chemical concentration error. The hose popped off the pump and chemical sprayed through an area not covered by the curtain landing on employee 's hand and bottom lip. Employee rinsed himself off and followed SDS to clean it then as burning feeling persisted the nurse triage line was called and then employee visited clinic where ointment was prescribed.
