Manually removing part stuck on datum in machine.
What happened
EE was attempting to remove a EX A bracket part that became stuck on datum inside the machining center. Rather than call for maintenance the EE used excess manual force to pull the part from the machine. When the part broke free his applied force was transferred back towards him in an upward direction resulting in a shoulder strain. EE was sent to ER due to clinic being closed. He was diagnosed with a shoulder strain and placed off work on [REDACTED] and advised to contact the ER doctor on [REDACTED] if pain persisted. If his pain dissipated he could return to full duty.
