Employee was using compressed air to clean themselves off

Employee was using compressed air to clean themselves off even though this is not allowed per our policy During this action the employee had debris fly up into face area At the time the employee did not think anything of it as they did not believe anything got into their eyes It wasnt until the [REDACTED] the employee reported it to their supervisor The supervisor looked at the employees eye but did not see anything at that time other than slight redness They flushed empoyees eyes Employee did not state anything more at that time Employee then left early for the day and decided to have eyes looked at just in case their was something in his left eye Employee made an appointment with eye doctor and they did find 2 small pieces of debris in the left eye and gave employee eye drops as well
