What happened
I was admitting a patient and I heard [REDACTED] screaming for help. I immediately went to assist her with a very aggressive and violent patient in the recovery area. Called green area was called and security personnel came to help us but patient was pulling all his wires and attempting to leave the bed. We tried our best to hold him down in the bed to prevent him to hurt himself but he was out of control. He was very strong and during the event my arm got caught and twisted against the bed rail. My right arm and shoulders are still hurting. I am taking ibuprofen for pain relief.
