I was about to start counting the final count and when i reach over to the needle driver i accidently felt a scratch. I collect my sharps before I start counting. It was a very superficial scratch.

the physician place the needle driver on the back table and the needle was not protected all the way. I reach to grab a lap and I felt a scratch. It was very superficial however I did notice a tiny strand of blood for example a piece of hair on my finger. I wash my hands for 5 minutes with betadine scrub brush.
