driver was making sure lift gate was working. While operating the lift gate driver noticed chains were bundled up causing it to stick and then attempted to move the chains causing his finger to get trapped.

Skender was trying to close the trailer gate because it was left down. When moving the lift gate up the chain was stuck in the way while trying to remove the chain his finger got caught in between and smashed his finger.
