Before the incident
On the single bollard was three lines from the ship. Two of the lines were dropped and the third was tighter but slacked on the bollard. While attempting to take off a dropped line off of the bollard the vessel began tightening the line with slack which resulted in the line coming in contact with the handler on his right leg. The worker was okay to put pressure on the leg but was limping. Slight bulge appeared on the workers leg. He took his self to the hospital as a precaution.
