Before the incident
Employee was preparing to bleed pressure from a hydraulic line on top of the ladle metallurgical furnace.
What happened
The employee was bleeding pressure from a hydraulic line and wasn 't getting much oil out of the bleeder device. He continued to loosen the cap for the bleeder. The cap came off and flew toward his face. Employee was contacted with hydraulic oil. He had his safety glasses but oil still got into his eyes.
