. Pt cassaulted [REDACTED] punching him in the head. This writer and another staff attempted to remove patient 's hold on EE. During this time unknown sources of blood were splattered on staff floors and walls. This writer was splashed in the face covering hair neck and aspects of face including the eyes and nose. Security on unit and escorted patient to quiet room. This writer cleaned out eye and contact and reported to the ER per protocol. Nsg Supervisor made aware. Director aware
