What happened
Patient assaulted EE. This Patient is a 1to1 on The STCF unit. Patient has assaulted staff in the past. This Patient was allowed to roam freely despite their assaulted past. When one of the Officers arrived on unit to relive another Officer for Lunch. Patient began to threaten Officer and then attacked them. The Patient punched the officer several times. The Patient is [REDACTED] old and stands 6ft 4 inches and weighs 240 to 250 Pounds. The EE was forced to defend themselves from an extremely violent and determined attack. Responding Officers were able to restrain Patient who was spitting at officers all the time. The EE received an injury to the right side of their face. EE is being treated in the ER.
