Advancing kiln car with 4x4 wood

Maintenance supervisor was assisting the PWP kiln burner with a kiln car that was stuck in the vestibule of the kiln The kiln car was stuck due to the pusher cable being broke Due to the position of the kiln car he was unable to work on the cable To move the kiln car he placed 24x4s down to push with the ram While the burner advanced the ram he noticed the 4x4s were not centered He then reached down to push them back in place and it was at that time the ram started pushing on the 4x4s and this smashed his right pinky finger between the ram and the 4x4
