Before the incident
This EE is a managed subcontractor and we did not have his DOB and DOH so we created dates to fill fields He was putting a bandsaw blade back onto the machine
What happened
Recordable due to sutures HCI subcontract EE reports he sustained a deep laceration of his left pinky finger MOI while putting a blade back on the bandsaw his left pinky finger accidentally made contact with the sharp blade The saw was powered off at the time The EE was wearing latex gloves at the time EE Received 4 stitches at WorkMed He was given no restrictions by the doctor and returned to work on [REDACTED] performing normal job duties EE is scheduled to get stitches out [REDACTED] On [REDACTED] EE returned to WorkMed where his stitches were removed The doctor has no concern with the healing
