Before the incident
Building a belt on the mandrel.
What happened
While in the process of building a belt the employee cut the rubber on the mandrel across his body. He said that when he brought the knife back across his body (away from his body) he felt a tweak in his elbow. He said that he didn 't think much about it at the time. Later on when he was building another belt he was moving his arm in an upwards (diagonal) motion. Just before he finished his cut he felt a burning pain down the length of his arm. He stopped with this motion and finished the cut with his right arm.
