What happened
Employee was operating the wind-up machine on the belt hoist in Silent Sync. While in the process of placing the wind-up machine down into the belt that was in the cure pot to extract it he placed his finger under the guard. The guard was not in the correct location. Once under the guard he turned o the winder and it grabbed his finger crushing it in the process. The guard was not in the correct place and the employee should have used the handles provided to maneuver the winder.
