What happened
Around [REDACTED] two maintenance employees were modifying a chain for the 1000 ton press uncoiler. During the process one employee held the chain with what he stated was a no touch tool while the other proceeded to cut the chain with a cut off wheel. While cutting the wheel grabbed the chain causing it to kick and go across the top of the holding employees index finger. The employee went to the first aid room to bandage up the finger then returned to work. After the employee went home and rested he determined that he wanted to get the finger inspected to make sure there was no infection the Dr. determined the finger was ok but did prescribe an antibiotic.
