Before the incident
This RN answered a bathroom call light to find a patient having difficulty with a bowel movement. Patient had lose BM that was all over toilet floor and himself. This RN attempted to help clean patient patient kept having more bowel movements getting onto this RN. Patient later tested positive for c diff.
What happened
This RN got stool on her person as she was cleaning the patient. Patient was cleaned and assisted back to his room prior to RN being able to clean self up. RN bleach cleaned scrubs and skin. RN then called for new scrubs and changed scrubs within 15 minutes.
