Operator was preparing for the start of the shift and noticed that she needed more large tote covers for the work area. She went to retrieve a box of them from the pallet on the ground level of the warehouse racks.

As Operator was removing the box from the pallet it slipped from her hands and fell behind the pallet. She reached for the box and tugged on it to replace it on the pallet. At this point she felt a pop in her back. The pain was minor so she continued to work. As the night went on the pain slowly worsened.
