Before the incident
The trim of the web on the operator side got pushed into the collar the employee noticed it and attempted to fix the trim.
What happened
Employee noticed that the trim had folded over and was riding in the collar the slitter blade rides in so the trim was not cutting off the web. The employee used his finger to try and unfold the trim to bring it back out of the collar. His finger was grabbed and the finger made contact with the slitter blade.
