Discussing job prep with Maintenance employees

A maintenance technician was riding on a pack mule cart. He stopped to speak with an operator adjacent to line 1 palletizer. That was a brief discussion. After the discussion ended the technician made a U-turn in the isle way to head back to the maintenance shop. He did not see an [REDACTED] that was in his blind spot. As he was halfway through the turn the [REDACTED] started its move to pick up a load on line 1 palletizer. He struck the forks on the [REDACTED]. The [REDACTED] immediately sensed the impact and stopped. The forks pierced his leg and broke through the skin.
