As he was using the forklift to lift pallets the top of the pallet hit a metal bar at the top of the opening. As he pushed the pallet forward the cases fell on top of the forklift causing the bottles to break. A piece of broken glass from the bottle hit the employee 's head causing a laceration to his right ear. No lost time received stitches on right ear.
