What happened
Booth operator was performing their task of backflushing the paint lines for the upcoming color change. The operator was having difficulties removing the diffuser as it was tight. As the operator began pulling the diffuser wrench with their right hand their right hand slipped and had gotten wedged between the diffuser wrench and the paint gun. This caused a deep laceration puncture wound between the flesh of the operator 's right hands thumb and index finger.
