Training another Team Member
What happened
[REDACTED] was training another team member at the [REDACTED] station on the Classic Line. Due to an ongoing unresolved issue involving scratched paint on the metal sash cladding cardboard was being placed underneath the sash as it was transferred down the line. The cardboard was then being removed after the sash was installed in the frame on the [REDACTED] pop-up mechanism. While [REDACTED] was training and observing the trainee he attempted to assist the trainee by removing the cardboard. The trainee cycled the two-hand busy switch to lower the pop-up mechanism while [REDACTED] 's hand was near the pop-up. [REDACTED] 's finger was pinched between the outer and inner rings of the pop-up causing the injury.
