What happened
The Tempura Slat belt for fryer 1. partially separated and jammed in the fryer. When this happened the output of the battering machine did not stop immediately so this belt became overloaded with wet product rather than going correctly through the oil bath. The drive continued to place tension on the jammed belt and product piled up on the jammed belt submerged in the oil creating a layer cake. There was a significant weight of product on the Delrin plate belting when it was raised and as the cake was removed to conduct the repair a portion of the cake fell into the oil bath and created a splash out. Reflex action made the TM turn away from the splash. First and Second degree burns from Fryer oil right arm back neck and head.PECO-[REDACTED] Lost time
