What happened
Employee was removing a 1 steel strap used to secure a coil to the incoming shipping pallet. After cutting the strap they started to pull the strap out to dispose of it. It got stuck coming out from under the pallet and when they stepped toward the pallet with the strap it sprung up and hit them in the temple causing a puncture wound laceration.
