[REDACTED] was using a die grinder with a carborundum wheel to etch casting numbers into a large piece of cast iron.

[REDACTED] was wearing his safety glasses but did not have on his face shield over them. A metal chip got behind his glasses and into his left eye. He did not feel he needed medical attention until the following morning when the pain and discomfort increased. He was sent to Concentra where they removed the metal chip.
