What happened
EE was grabbing a leg of the bird on line 4 with her left hand. The bird was stuck so she grabbed the chicken with her right hand too. She felt a pop in her right ring finger when she was attempting to pull the chicken out.
Injury or illness
A pop was felt in the right index finger. No immediate pain was felt. EE was able to continue to work without pain until she was rotated into the bagging area. Once EE started bagging she felt the pain in her finger.
