What happened
An employee attempted to open one of the retort doors but it wouldn 't budge. He informed a coworker that he was unable to open it. The coworker then tried to open the door by adjusting one of the air valves. When the door finally opened it swung open quickly. The injured employee reached out to stop it but the door was too heavy and it slammed into the metal latch of another retort.
