Employee was on Line 3 hot hold table assisting employees with removing jars of sauce.

Employee went to line 3 hot hold table to check on the progress of the capper adjustments. There were some jars set aside that needed to be dumped. Employee put their heat resistant gloves on and grabbed a couple jars. One slipped out of their glove and spilled across their left arm. The sauce quickly soaked through the cuff of the glove. Employee was able to wipe off the sauce from their bare arm quickly but the area with the soaked cuff was getting burned quickly. They struggled to get their gloves off. They were very slippery. Employee ended up having to use their teeth. [REDACTED] took employee over to the hose at line 3 filler to spray their arm. They then got ahold of the first responder [REDACTED] who administered first aid and advised he seek medical attention.
