Before the incident
cleaning spray tips on an automatic paint booth
What happened
Employee was using a scrub brush to clean spray tips. He was wearing all of his PPE which included face shield apron and gloves. He dropped his brush and as an instinct turned his head and tried to catch the brush. As he did so his goggles came into contact with the machine creating a gap. As he caught the brush solvent entered into is eye from the gap in the PPE and his face.
