What happened
Employee #1 was reworking bad labels with two other employees. The jars had been soaking in the sink the sink became clogged with label debris. Employee #2 was manipulating the manual quarter turn shut off to free the jam. While Employee #2 was manipulating the shut off employee #1 stuck his middle finger into the drain hole. The shut off was turned again tearing flesh off the tip of his right middle finger when the employee #1 pulled his hand away. Employee #1 had his finger wrapped in gauze by the Supervisor. Employee was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
