Before the incident
Employee was securing the nose landing gear assembly while using a creeper
What happened
Employee was securing nose landing gear assembly when the creeper he was using malfunctioned and started to roll away. Employee fell backwards and in an effort to catch his fall he placed his right hand on the ground and one of the creeper wheels ran over his hand. Employee reported incident to supervisor and did not think injury was serious. [REDACTED] his finger remained swollen. When he returned to work on his next scheduled day he was sent to Carespot who diagnosed his injury as a closed nondisplaced fracture of middle phalanx of right ring finger. He was given a finger splint and was referred to a hand surgery specialist.
