Trying to resurrect down animal on recoup ramp.
What happened
EE was using hot shot as a last attempt to resurrect a down animal on the recoup ramp. Animal kicked and hit the hotshot which in turn struck the fence and then the EE 's face causing a laceration on EE 's left cheek. Medical skin adhesive was required to close the wound.
